Devon Legion Archives
Photographs of various Regiment and Legion activities recently discovered in the Devon Legion archives.

The photograph below was originally noted as the 25th Field Artillery but it is believed that it may actually be the 20th Field Artillery garrisoned in Edmonton, Alberta.

The photograph below was released from the Department of National Defence. The photo shows Lt. Col. B.M. Hoffmeister, Vancouver, O.C. Seaforth Highlanders, leading his Battalion through and up the Sicilian hills near Militello single file to a parade ground for Monty's visit to troops of the 2 Canadian Infantry Brigade, 1st Canadian Division, in 1943.

The photograph below was recently discovered in the Devon Legion files. It is a photograph of the H.M.C.S. Qu'Appelle. It is thought to have been presented to the Devon Legion by a Navy Veteran who served on the ship from July 1984 to May 1987. The original photograph is to be framed and displayed in the Devon Legion.
